Andronicus II Palaeologus, with Michael IX. 1282-1328. Æ Assarion (23mm, 2.63 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck circa 1294-1320. Large patriarchal cross flanked by two Bs (the B on the right is retrograde) / Andronicus and Michael standing facing, holding labarum between them. DOC 711; LPC p. 100, 53; PCPC 184; SB 2451. Good Fine, dark green to black patina, flatly struck in places, a few scratches.
