Claudius. AD 41-54. Æ Sestertius (31mm, 19.08 g, 6h). Romano-British(?) imitation. Laureate head right / Spes advancing left, holding flower and hem of skirt. For prototype: RIC I 99; von Kaenel Type 55; for similar, see Sutherland, Romano-British pl. I, 4-5. VF, pale green patina with patches of red, minor surface roughness, a couple of old scratches.
