BULGARIA, Principality. Ferdinand I. 1887-1918. Lot of six (6) CU-NI and Æ Denominations. Lot includes the following denominations:

(74.1) As Tsar, 1908-1918. Æ 1 Stotinki (15mm, 1.01 g, 6h). Dated 1912. KM 22.2; Y 16. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 65 BN. Very beautiful moderately toned brown with a large amount of red peeking through. Highest ever graded.

(74.2) As Prince, 1887-1908. Æ 2 Stotinki (20mm, 1.99 g, 6h). Paris mint; différents: cornucopia and torch. Henri-Auguste Patey, engraver general. Régie des Monnaies, directors. Dated 1901. KM 23.1; Y 17. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 63 BN. Hints of red peeking through light brown toning. Highest ever graded.

(74.3) As Prince, 1887-1908. CU-NI 2½ Stotinki (16mm, 2.03 g, 6h). Dated 1888. KM 8; Y 8. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 66. Gem BU. Only one graded higher in 67.

(74.4) As Prince, 1887-1908. CU-NI 5 Stotinki (17mm, 3.03 g, 6h). Dated 1888. KM 9; Y 9. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 67. Superb gem BU with fully prooflike surfaces, possibly a specimen strike. Highest ever graded and a beautiful coin. Purchased from Karl Stephens, December 1979.

(74.5) As Prince, 1887-1908. CU-NI 10 Stotinki (20mm, 4.08 g, 6h). Dated 1888. KM 10; Y 10. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 65. Gem UNC with a tiny bit of very light toning. Only one graded higher in MS 66.

(74.6) As Prince, 1887-1908. CU-NI 20 Stotinki (22mm, 4.97 g, 6h). Dated 1888. KM 11; Y 11. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 66. Gem uncirculated. A superb coin for type and highest ever graded specimen. A one year only type.
