Theodosius II. AD 402-450. AV Solidus (20mm, 4.36 g, 6h). Constantinople mint, 7th officina. Struck under Arcadius, AD 402. Pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder and shield / CONCORDI-A AVGG, Constantinopolis enthroned facing, head right, right foot on prow, holding scepter and Victory on globe; Z//CONOB. RIC X 9 (unlisted officina; Arcadius); Depeyrot 55/3. EF, light hairlines. Very rare.

Struck after 10 January, when the eight month old Theodosius II was proclaimed emperor. While looking mature, the youth of the emperor is conveyed by the small bust. The Constantinopolis reverse with CONCORDIA AVGG legend was the regular solidus type under Theodosius I up until 392 and was revived under Arcadius from circa 395/7-402.
