SASANIAN. Orange red carnelian ring Circa 6th-7th Century AD. Finger size 5 3/4 (UK L). Orange red carnelian ring, the hoop expanding into a flat bezel inscribed with a winged Victory standing left and holding two long flower bouquets. Very nice, but hard to imagine how one could comfortably wear such a large ring. ($500)
