PAPHLAGONIA, Sinope. 3rd century BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 15.62 g, 12h). Head of female (Sinope-Tyche?) right, wearing turreted crown / Apollo, holding in left hand a kithara supported on his leg, seated left on omphalos; ΣINΩΠEIΩN to left, A/M/T to right. SNG BM Black Sea 1509 (same obv. die); SNG von Aulock 6861 (same obv. die); HGC 7, 402 (same obv. die as illustration); Prospero 430 = SNG Lockett 2667 (same obv. die). VF, toned, smoothed, a few minor gouges. Very rare.
