CILICIA, Tarsos. Pharnabazos. Persian military commander, 380-374/3 BC. AR Stater (21mm, 10.45 g, 12h). Struck circa 380-379 BC. Head of Arethusa facing slightly left / Bearded male head (Ares?) right, wearing crested Attic helmet; FRNBZW HLK in Aramaic to left, symbol to right. Casabonne series 3; Moysey Issue 3, 60 (same rev. die); SNG France 248 var. (symbol); SNG Levante –. Good VF, toned, hairline flan crack, rough patches on reverse. Well centered. Extremely rare with this symbol on reverse, Moysey records only one example, in the ANS.
