THESSALY, Pharsalos. Mid-late 5th century BC. AR Hemiobol (8mm, 0.38 g, 11h). Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet / Head and neck of horse right; Φ to upper right. Cf. Lavva 37-40; BCD Thessaly II 648. Near VF, toned, porous surfaces.

From the BCD Collection.

The quality of the images of Lavva’s 37-40 are extremely poor. It is possibly her obverse die V22, while the reverse does not look to be recorded.
