THESSALY, Peirasia. Circa 320/10-250/00 BC. Æ Trichalkon (19mm, 5.27 g, 6h). Head of Athena right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet decorated with coiled serpent on bowl / [Π]EIPAΣI–E–Ω[N], Athena Itonia striding right, brandishing spear in right hand, shield on left arm. Pendleton BL2 (O1/R2); BCD Thessaly II 506 (same rev. die). VF, green patina, some bare metal showing through on obverse. Very rare, only seven known to Pendleton.
