NEPΩN KA[I-ΣAP] ΘEΣΣAΛΩN, laureate head right / ΛAOVXOV ΣTPA-THΓOV, horse standing right, it’s reins held in right hand of Thessalia, standing facing, [holding grain ear and poppy in left hand]. Burrer Em. 2, Series 1, Group 1, – (A16/R– [unlisted rev. die]); BCD Thessaly II 934 (same obv. die); RPC I 1442. Near VF, green and red patina, light adjustment marks. An attractive example of these large module, sestertius-like bronzes.
