SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Seleukos I Nikator. 312-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 17.02 g, 2h). Seleukeia on the Tigris I mint. Struck circa 296/5-281 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Nikephoros seated left; M in left field, ΔI monogram below throne. SC 119.9b; ESM 28β (A30/P95 – this coin); HGC 9, 16f. Good VF, toned, a couple of insignificant die breaks and light (ink?) mark in field on reverse.
