Extremely Rare Galba Dupondius
Galba. AD 68-69. Æ Dupondius (27mm, 14.11 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck circa October AD 68. IMP SER GALBA CAES AVG TR P, laureate head right / FEL ICIT AVGVST, Felicitas standing left, holding caduceus and cornucopia, and leaning upon cippus to right; S C across field. RIC I 361 corr. (rev. legend) = BN 178 = Cohen 65; ACG –. Good VF, brown patina, a few light marks. Extremely rare and apparently the second known (the other in the BN).
