THESSALY, Pelinna. Late 4th-3rd centuries BC. Æ Chalkous (15mm, 2.32 g, 6h). Thessalian horseman riding left, wearing petasos, chlamys, and chiton, raising right hand / Matho, veiled and draped, seated right on stool, opening lid of box set on lap with right hand; ethnic beginning at top right, but otherwise almost entirely illegible. Cf. Rogers 430ff; cf. BCD Thessaly II 532ff. Near VF, dark brown patina.
