A pair of bronze and limestone eyes. Egyptian, Late Period, 668-332 BC. Bronze rims set with limestone eyes with painted irises, each with curved eyebrow. Eyes 8.2cm and 8.8cm wide, eyebrows each 10.6cm. Some loss of paint on the iris of one eye, otherwise excellent condition.


Set into a sculpture or funerary mask, probably originally of wood.
