MYSIA, Pitane. 4th century BC. AR Hemiobol(?) (7mm, 0.39 g, 5h). Head of Zeus-Ammon right / Pentagram within shallow incuse square. Head, HN p. 357; Classical Numismatic Group 84, lot 615; Gorny & Mosch 200, lot 1664 (same obv. die). VF, toned, minor porosity. Extremely rare and finer than the other two specimens to have come up for sale in recent years. Among the finest known.
