New Kingdom. 1550-1075 BC. Steatite amulet in the shape of a recumbent antelope (16x10mm). Back in the form of a recumbent antelope, its head turned toward the side, base engraved with Uraeus and Maat feather within a rope design. Cf. Geneva p. 135 for a discussion on the Uraeus and Maat feather. Intact save for some chipping around the base, once glazed, pierced for mounting. Very rare.
