Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / Gordian on horseback left, raising right hand and holding sceptre in left; Victory before, holding wreath and palm. RIC IV 325; Cohen 377. Rare. Lot includes another sestertius of Gordian III. VOTIS/DECENNA/LIBVS in three lines within wreath. RIC IV 263a. Rare. Both coins fine, light encrustation. Two (2) coins in lot. ($200)
