ASIA MINOR, Uncertain. Circa 480-450 BC. AR Tetartemorion (5mm, 0.15 g). Head of a roaring lion left / Symbol within incuse square. Rosen 406 var.; SNG Kayhan 746 var. Near VF, porous. Rare.
Both cited example are larger denominations, presumably obols. The Rosen specimen has the lion’s head facing right, while the obverse of the Kayhan example is largely obliterated.
