ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΝΙΚΗΦΟΡΟΥ ΑΝΤΙΑΛΚΙΔΟΥ Diademed, ‘heroic’bust of Antialkidas to left, seen from behind, holding spear in his upraised right hand and with his left shoulder covered by an aegis. Rev. Maharajasa jayadharasa Amtialikidasa in Kharosthi. Zeus standing facing, with elephant prancing to left behind him, holding a transverse,lotos-tipped scepter in his left hand and, in his right, Nike standing right on a globe and crowning the elephant with a wreath held in her right hand; to left, monogram of ΗΔΥ. Bopearachchi Série 8A. Mitchiner 274a. Rare. A sharp and attractive example. Extremely fine.
