Gold pendant. Roman, 1st-3rd centuries AD. Rounded concave plate tapering toward the end, the facing surface ornamented with a series of gold globules and coiled wire border. Three gold globules at point of attachment of loop. Height: 2.9cm. Surfaces a little bent up, but overall a descent example of a crescent pendant popular for both their aesthetic appeal and religious/magical properties.
