RICΛRD’ DI’ GRΛ’ RЄX ΛnGL’ (retrograde Z) FRΛnC’, crowned facing bust in tressure of arches; fleurs on cusps (except over crown); L2 / POSVI DЄVm ΛDIVTORЄ mЄVm//CIVI TAS LOn DOn, long cross pattée; three pellets in quarters; L2, M1. Winstanley -, but cf. pl. II, 8 (for rev.); North 1679; SCBC 2154. VF, toned, small flan crack at base of bust. Great portrait coin.
