THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 400-380 BC. Drachm (Silver, 6.03 g 4). Facing head of nymph Larissa, turned slightly to the right, with ampyx, drop earrings, and necklace with central bead. Rev. ΛΑΡΙΣΑΙ Horse with straight legs feeding to right. Lorber 1992 25.1 = Lorber, Early O53/R1d (this coin). A noble and attractive head of Larissa. Some vague traces of corrosion and with a minor obverse die break, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
