CELTIC, North-Eastern series ('Corieltauvi'). Uninscribed. Circa 55-30 BC. AV Stater (17mm, 6.00 g, 10h). British I – Corieltauvian B – North-East Coast type. Celticized head of Apollo right / Disjointed horse left; pellet with rays to left, ‘sunflower’ below, ornaments around. Van Arsdell 805-11; SCBC 29; CCI 63.0011-2 (same dies). Near EF, lightly toned.
