Wreathed and veiled head right; CAESAR before, DICT PERPETVO behind / Venus Victrix standing left, holding Victory on right hand, and with left, leaning on scepter set on eight-pointed star; P SEPVLLIVS downwards to right, MACER downwards to left. Crawford 480/14; Alföldi Type VII, 64 (A11/R10); CRI 107e; Sydenham 1074a; Kestner -; BMCRR Rome 4175; RSC 39/40; CNR 143/1 (same dies as illustration). Near EF, handsome old collection toning, area of slightly flat strike on wreath and corresponding reverse.
