Struck circa 997. + ÆDELRÆD REX Λ(NG)L(ORX), diademed and draped bust left / + SÆPINE M–O PILTVN, small cross pattée. SCBI 7 (Copenhagen), 1315 (same rev. die); Hild. 4019 var. (MOΩ not M–O); BMC -; North 773; SCBC 1150. Good Fine, toned, struck from worn dies, slight wave in flan. Extremely rare.
