SICILY, Syracuse. Second Democracy. 466-405 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 17.31 g, 12h). Obverse die signed by Phrygillos, reverse die in the style of Euarchidas. Struck circa 415-405 BC. Head of Arethusa left, hair in ampyx with ΦPY on the front, wearing single-pendant earring and pearl necklace; Σ-Y-[P]-A-KΩ-ΣI-ΩN and four dolphins around / Charioteer, holding kentron in right hand and reins in left, driving fast quadriga left; above, Nike flying right, crowning charioteer with wreath; in exergue, grain ear left.
