DN LEO PE RPET AVG, diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right / SALVS R-PVBLICA (sic), Leo standing right, holding labarum and globe, spurning bound captive; CON. RIC X 657; MIRB -; LRBC -. Near EF, green patina. Exceptional for this issue! Rare. ($750)

Although the mintmark refers to the Constantinople mint, this issue is found almost exclusively in the Crimea, and was probably struck specifically for the important port of Cherson.
