Turk, cross legged, seated facing, holding raised sword and severed head; name of Nur al-Din to left; ornamental in exergue / Legend in three lines citing the Abbasid caliph; names and titles of Ayyubid overlords in two concentric margins; AH date in outer margin. Whelan Type IV, 57-58; S&S Type 36.1; Album 1829.4. Good VF, brown surfaces. Well centered on a broad flan.
