Conjoined busts right of Cleopatra, veiled, wearing diadem and stephane, and Antiochos, diademed / [BASILISSHS KLEOPATRAS] right, BASILEWS ANTIOXOY left, eagle standing left on thunderbolt, palm over shoulder; AS and a dove left, date APP right, M/A between legs. SNG Spaer 2485; Spaer, "Ascalon, from Royal Mint to Autonomy," in Studies Mildenberg, 3-4; Houghton, CSE, 821. Toned VF, surfaces a little grainy. Very rare. ($1500)
