CYCLADES, Syros. Circa 150-145/38 BC. AR Tetradrachm (35mm, 15.41 g, 12h). Stephanophoric type. Laureate head of Demeter right / Two kabeiroi standing facing, each holding staff; monogram to lower right, ΘEΩN KABEIPΩN at sides, ΣYPIΩN below; all within wreath. Nicolet-Pierre & Amandry 8 (D4/R7 – this coin); SNG Copenhagen -; Pozzi 2056 var. (monogram); Dewing 1968 var. (same). Good VF, toned. Rare.
