Claudius. AD 41-54. AV Aureus (19mm, 9.79 g, 1h). Rome mint. Struck AD 46-47. Laureate head right; c/m: R / Constantia seated left on curule chair, feet on footstool, right hand raised. Soldered to ancient suspension loop of cylindrical form, decorated with three rows of globules. RIC I 31; von Kaenel Type 25; Calicó 340. Coin in Fine condition, twice holed. Suspension loop well preserved. Most likely Indian.
