Boeotian shield / Amphora, ivy leaf hanging from each handle; above, club right; olive spray to left; HI-KE across field; all within incuse concave circle. BCD Boiotia 487 var. (club left, olive spray below); Hepworth 53 (same rev. die); Head, Boeotia p. 65; Myron Hoard -; BMC -. Choice EF, lustrous, usual die rust on obverse. Very rare variety, not present in the BCD collection.
