SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Emesa. Uranius Antoninus. Usurper, AD 253-254. BI Tetradrachm (12.03 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing on ground line, head and tail right, with wings displayed, holding wreath in beak; S C in exergue. Baldus Suppl. III, Serie II, 3 (dies XV/-; this coin, illustrated) = Prieur 1049 (this coin referenced). Good VF, dark brown patina with traces of earthen deposits, a few light cleaning marks.
