LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 330-290 BC. AR Nomos (7.75 g, 4h). Wreathed head of Demeter facing slightly right; [AΠ before] / Barley ear of seven grains with leaf to right; bucranium above leaf, AΘA below. Johnston Class C, 2.4 (same dies); HN Italy 1584; SNG Manchester 208 (same dies). VF, deeply toned, surfaces a little corroded.
