CAMPANIA, Suessa Aurunca. Circa 265-240 BC. AR Nomos (7.23 g, 5h). Laureate head of Apollo right / Dioscouros, holding filleted palm frond, riding left, accompanied by second horse in backround. HN Italy 447; SNG ANS -; SNG France 1154 = De Luynes 204 = Sambon 863 (same dies). EF, attractively toned. Well centered and perfectly struck from dies of fine style. Considered the finest known coin of Suessa Aurunca.
