BACIΛEYC OOHM O KAΔΦICHC, diademed and crowned figure of Vima Kadphises, holding in right hand a mace-scepter that rests on his shoulder, standing under canopy in chariot, with driver, drawn by two horses right / “Maharajasa rajadirajasa trarvaloga iśvarasa mahiśvarasa hima kathphśasa” in Kharosthi, ithyphallic Siva standing facing, head left, holding composite trident with ax in right hand, he-goat skin draped over left arm; Buddhist triratana (“Three Jewels”) to left, tamgha to right. Bopearachchi, Premiers, Série VII, 10-11; MK 5 (O1/R1); Donum Burns -. Good VF, trace elements of platinum on reverse. Extremely rare, one of seven recorded, and only the second ever to appear at auction.
