SASANIAN KINGS. Bahram II, with Queen and Prince 4. AD 276-293. PB Unit (10.68 g, 9h). Jugate busts right of Bahram, crowned, and his queen, wearing a bonnet with a griffin's head and cuirass, vis-à-vis, facing bust of his son (Prince 4) left, who wears a bonnet with an eagle's head and presenting wreath in right hand / Fire altar with king standing right and Anahita, wearing bonnet with horse’s head, standing left, presenting wreath in right hand; fravahr to left of flames. Cf. Saeedi 168; cf. Göbl XI/3 (both refs. drachm). VF, some encrustation and light roughness. Very rare.
