BYZANTINE. Pair of Silver Bracelets. 5th-7th centuries AD. Triple strand spiral-wound bands with broad spatulate terminals. Plate ends decorated with applied pellets and silver filigree. An attractive but not very successful design. One arm was broken off in antiquity and repaired with a silver band, two arms broken off recently, one repaired. Diameter: 75mm. Good condition. Two (2) pieces in lot.
