ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.87 g, 11h). New Style coinage. Timarchos, Nikago-, and Menan-, magistrates. Struck 134/3 BC. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ names in fields, anchor and star to left, E on amphora, ΣΦ below; all within wreath. Cf. Thompson 365/364b (same obv. die/rev. type). EF, lightly toned, light mark on jaw of Athena. Well struck from fresh dies.
