SICILY, Agyrion. 344-339/8 BC. Æ Hemilitron (14.06 g, 1h). Helmeted head of Ares right / [Bow] and quiver. Castrizio series IV, 1 (D1/R1); CNS 19 OS; SNG ANS -; McClean 2126. Fine, dark green patina. Overstruck on earlier, Zeus/thunderbolt issue of Agyrion (Castrizio series III, 1; CNS 11). Rare.
