Nero. As Caesar, AD 50-54. AV Aureus (20mm, 7.38 g). Rome mint. Struck under Claudius, AD 51-54. Bare-headed and draped young bust left / Simpulum above tripod and lituus above patera. RIC I 76 (Claudius); Calicó 441; BMCRE 84 (Claudius). Fine, obverse test cut and banker’s mark, reddish-toning.
