Octavian. 28 BC. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.28 g). Italian (Rome?) mint. Bare head right; lituus behind / Crocodile standing right with jaws open. RIC I 275a (Rome); CRI 430; BMCRE 650; RSC 2. Near VF, toned, granular surfaces with numerous fine scratches, several obverse banker’s marks.
