AЛEKCAHДPЪ III ИMПEPATOPЪ И CAMOДEPЖEЦЬ BCEPOCCIЙCKIЙ/POДИЛCЯ 26 ФEBPAЛЯ 1845 ГOДA BЪ ЪOЗҌ ПOЧИЛ 20 OKT. 1894 ГOДA, head of Aleksandr III Aleksandrovich left / COOPУЖEHЪ ЛЮБOBЬЮ HAPOДA ИMПEPATOPOMЪ HИKOЛAEMЬ II/BЪ MOCKBҌ OTKPЫTЪ BЪ 1912 Г., PУБЛЬ in exergue, statue of enthroned Aleksandr III Aleksandrovich facing, set on ornate, muti-tiered base; incuse A-Г at each end of lower base. On edge: ЧИCTAГO CEPEБPA 4 ЗOЛOTHИKA 21 ДOЛEЙ (Э•Б). Bitkin 330; Severin 4165; Uzdenikov 4199. NGC photo graded MS 65, deeply toned with full luster and hues of russet, blue, and gray. Quite rare as a type, and this specimen is much rarer as a Gem Uncirculated.
