LUCANIA, Thourioi. Circa 300 BC. AR Nomos (7.99 g, 11h). Eu- and Phr-, magistrates. Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Skylla hurling a stone / [Q]OURIWN, bull butting right; above, Nike flying right, crowning bull with wreath; below, eagle(?), EY, and FA. Cf. HN Italy 1850 (for magistrates) and 1879-81 (for types). EF, toned, well struck. Unpublished, possibly unique.

Rutter (HN Italy) dated the issues with Nike to the period circa 300-280 BC, none of which are recorded with these magistrates, whose known issues he dates to circa 350-300 BC.
