Marcus Aurelius. As Caesar, AD 139-161. Æ Dupondius (27mm, 17.79 g). Rome mint. Struck AD 140-144. Bare-headed bust right, slight drapery on far shoulder / Honos standing left, holding branch and cornucopiae. RIC III 1237 (Antoninus Pius). VF, thick flan, attractive brown patina with lighter highlights, minor pitting and corrosion on the reverse. Wonderful portrait.
