Octavian. 30-29 BC. AR Denarius (4.02 g, 9h). Italian (Rome?) mint. Bare head right / Military trophy with rudder and anchor crossed at base, set on prow right. RIC I 265a; CRI 419; RSC 119. Good VF, deep mauve-gray find patina, a few surface scratches. Well centered on both sides.
The reverse commemorates Octavian’s victory at Actium.
