CAPPADOCIA, Caesaraea-Eusebia. Macrinus, with Diadumenian as Caesar. AD 217-218. Æ 34mm (27.21 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Macrinus right, and bareheaded and draped bust of Diadumenian left, vis-à-vis / Mt. Argaeus: [summit surmounted by statue holding scepter and flanked by star and crescent]; at base, tetrastyle temple flanked by agonistic urns. Sydenham, Caesarea 507; BMC 282; SNG Copenhagen -; SNG von Aulock 6498. Fine, dark brown patina, old cut on reverse. Rare.
