CELTIC, Carpathian region. Uncertain tribe. Late 2nd-early 1st century BC. BI Tetradrachm (10.74 g, 6h). Verwilderung type. Devolved head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; S-like ornament to right / Devolved horseman riding right; line with three pellets below. Lanz 568; cf. CCCBM I S65 (earlier issue); KMW 1172. VF, darkly toned, a few tiny spots of encrustation.
