India. Hindu States. Circa 10th century AD. Gold Appliqué. 21mm diameter, 0.87 g. Thin repoussé roundel, with five cobras rearing above an uncertain seated deity, all surround by a floral spray. Very fine engraved and punched details. Good condition.
