GREAT/BRITAIN/AND IRELAND/UNITED/MDCCC in five lines; above, an open book inscribed ONE LAW, set on wreath and scepter; below, lion, head facing, reclining right on anchor (symbol of faith) and scales (justice), both set on ground; shamrock plant to left; oak sapling to right; PK in exergue / FRIENDSHIP UNION AND PEACE, Britannia, holding wreath, and Hibernia, holding olive branch, standing vis-à-vis on ground line, embracing fasces set on base decorated with Union Jack and Irish Harp; pyramid behind; fruits at feet of Britannia; HANCOCK on ground line; 1800 in exergue.
